Some Mother F'er just broke into my Xterra and he was driving a Maxima

Guy broke the drivers window and got my GPS and Radar detector. And he was driving a newer Maxima. Nissan on Nissan crime...so sad. And my Maxima was sitting right next to my X in the drive way. I mean WTF! The cops were amazed because they hadent seen any of these crimes around this area yet. What a thrill.

It was a Garmin and I did have its new LOCK code installed so they cant use the GPS...asshats

Sorry that happened to you. But they do say never to leave that **** in your window, so a lesson learned.

I do that in Chicago or even when i am out and about in the neighborhood, but like I said, even the cops were shocked it happened in this area.

Thankfully my friend saw him otherwise he would have gotten off with a lot more. I had some of my dewalt tools in the back, as well as a digital camera or 2 in the truck (not out in the open)

Ugh.

Damn.... man This **** sucks bad man, If had the ***** to come up your drive way to steal your goods in your MAX, I would be installing some ADT security in my home. Thank god he did not wreck your ride and tear it up in pieces besides the glass he just took out.

Black 04 or newer maxima (We believe) dark tinted windows and it appeared to have the lights for the plate removed/ off or what ever. not 100% on the car but there arnt many cars that look like the Maxima. My guess is it is from around here somewhere. Also, the driver had very small feet size 6-8, skinny male apx 5'8"-5'10"

So I guess you just missed being able to get the license plate do to the off/missing license plate lights. That sucks. Sounds like you almost had him. Time for an alarm, and some motion detector lights at your place.

If you have house insurance, you could claim the stolen items if your coverage works this way. Mine does. Hopefully your deductible is low though.

Maybe they can track him using the GPS? I think I read somewhere that they were able to catch a thief that way.

Sorry for that to happen though. I hate ppl that have to steal to get what they want. Next time you see his car, key it or something...revenge! Muahahaha

even in good/safe neighborhoods there is still some sort of robbery/vandalism that goes on. its just common sense and not being stupid and naive about this stuff. if somethings out for the taking in plain sight, its gonna be taken. sad that we live in a world like this...

Sorry to hear that. This will be the trend since people moved to faceless radios, now the fad is the GPS systems.I live here in the DC area and 30 minutes away in Baltimore, MD this is the crime there, smashing car windows and grab GPS and radar detectors and other personals. Here in DC alot of folks are moving here for job oppurtunities that don't know the area so they purchase portable GPS systems to help navigate around the area and you see them suction cupped in everybodys windshields nowadays.People given the oppurtunity will steal anything.I wouldn't be surprised if its someone in the neighborhood or a friend of someone in the neighborhood that tipped them off to you having that stuff in your vehicle.

If you think it's from around you're area. Next time you see a black Maxima with no lights on his plates, that's you're "guy or *****". I got a stilletto sirus radio and a escort passport 9500 I always take my **** off. Can't trust nobody.
