F/S 1986 wagon 75k miles north new jersey great car

Hey All,

The time has come for me to get rid of the car that I drove during college... It is a 1986 maxima wagon with about 75k miles on her. It was my grandmothers who only drove it back and forth to the stores and such. I received it in 2003 with 49k miles on it.

It is NOT perfect, like most other 22 year old cars, but it is in excellent condition. I like to be honest and up front so here is the bad first, then the good:

BAD:

The last time I cranked the engine it did not start - This could have been due to it being extremely cold, the engine doesn't seem to like sub 20 degree weather. The battery is in good condition however.

The shocks although safe are not great so the ride is a tad on the bouncy side but I was able to avoid a collision once that I thought for sure was going to be a head on wreck (the guy turned left in front of me so I had to swerve strong and fast to get out of the way)

There is a very minor amount of rust starting to creep up in some places, but nothing that cannot be fixed and surely nothing dangerous

The car did NOT pass NJ emissions when I took it to the inspection station. I don't know if the cat. converter was ever replaced so I would assume a new one would be needed although the issue could be somewhere else, I don't know and didn't want to chase the issue down.

That's about it as far as the bad goes, so now the good:

Only 75k original miles on a 1986 car
Never wrecked in any fashion (there are a few dents here and there but it never collided with anything)
I know the full history of the car (It was my grandfathers, then my grandmothers, then mine)
The engine pulls strong
Everything works except for the rear hatch release button located on the dash (which I think is pretty pointless anyway because you have to pick up the hatch, so why not just press the button above the handle on the hatch itself...)
New radio installed with cd player, amp outputs, and a headphone jack input (great for ipods and mp3 players)
Interior and Exterior in excellent conditions - see pics below

I have the car in Mahwah, NJ (northern New Jersey). It is currently uninsured so I cannot allow test drives and it must be towed or transported in another fashion since as far as I know it cannot be legally driven w/out insurance.

I have the clean title in hand ready to sign over!

I don't have any very recent pictures of the car but these pictures were taken a year ago - since then my main vehicles have been my motorcycle and my truck so it has not seen much use since then, and looks practically identical.

I was really hoping for about $1k for the car but I'm somewhat flexible / willing to make trades for interesting stuff, etc.

contact me at "kiker14@aol.com" and mention the 1986 car in the subject so I know it isn't junk mail, thanks!!
