Blinking Security Light

Hey Everyone,
I have an 89 Maxima and after doing some work on the speakers today the security light has started to blink. Whnever the key is not in the ignition the security light blinks. I remember it blinking slowly before, but it blinks very quickly now. I had to take off the door panels this afternoon so it may have something to do with that. Anyone had any experience with this? Thanks for the help.

I believe it should blink until all doors and trunk are closed then it should stay solid indicating the fac alrm is activated.
