Does the sunroof has a regulator similar to the windows? Mine will go up just fine, but will only slide back (very slowly at that) about half way before it stops completely. I have removed the shade (it's broken), so I know that it is not causing a jam.

If I have to replace this, does anyone know how to get to it, or where it is even?

 

I have the exact same problem! A local sunroof place (sent there by dealer!) told me I needed a whole new track assembly (~$850), so I told him to forget it. Tried spraying silicone all around on the track, but it didn't help. I can live with just having the pop-up roof. As far as I know, there's no regulator - just the motor in the front.
