who has more than one maxima at the same time

i had the 3rd gen, loved it but had to let her go to cop a 4th gen. I like the 5th but i dont think i like it that much to sell my 4th to get it. so if i do get it i would probably would have to have both. and that kinda doesnt make sense being that its a four door and has a back seat. i mean i can understand ppl with Z32 or 33 needing more car so they get two, or getting a 2+2 cuz the other one is a TT. so I wanna know who has more than one max and how did that come about.

i guess thats the most logical reason. but thats cute, having the same car as wifey. my bro and his wifey had matching 240sx SE's didnt have a pic of them together. but here they are separate, the two best colors too. red and pearl white. well other than black. but my other bro got that black. Nissan Fam for real!!

"Can i keep them all".lol

We had four 4thgens last year but we just donated one to Va (veteran affairs)
To make a long story short...
The first one we bought was a auto.(GREEN) Then we bought a 5spd for me.(Black)The auto's tranny was starting to go so we bought a beater 4thgen(White) till I could find another vlsd tranny for it(Green).A work van hit my 5spd(black) so I decided to mod it while it was at the body shop. The mods list kept growing & the body shop was taking sooooo long I decided to buy another 5spd 4thgen(Blue).
Now this means green & black were down.....
My wifes driving white & im in blue.lol
I found a vlsd for green and put white down(for good).lol
As of right now greens up & blacks down(official money pit track car)lol
And blue is my daily driver With a few mods
In laymens terms "we no like walky takey buss"
I hope that made sense....
Oh and did I mention I love the 4thgen

I've got a 4th Gen (96) that was given to me by my grandmother before she passed. when I took possession of it in 04 it had 37,000 miles on it. And last month I bought a 5.5 gen. couldn't pass it up. barely had 40K on it, and it was optioned out including the Nav. I did some research on the car and it was some exec's car at Nissan for the first 10K. guessing that's the reason for it having every option available. Could have done without the Nav though!!!

The good old days...

One nearly stock '98 automatic as my daily driver and a modded '96 5 speed as a "project" car.

I ended up giving the '98 to my sister after she got rid of her POS car. ('02 Hyundai Sonata)

The '96 is still my project car and has moved along quite well over the years since that picture was taken.

Loved my maxima's and would buy another in a heart beat if I were in the market for one.

There are 2 Maximas in the family. My sister has a white '97 SE, and I have a sage mist green '98 GXE. My brother had a '99 beige SE-L up until last September. Sucks cuz it was fun having the same car, being twins and all lol

Have a look-see:

i feel you you man, i'm 23 and i remember in the 90s my pops had a guy that worked with him and he had a maroon 94. so i guess subconsciously i dug it cuz when it came time to buy my 1st car, i was like i dont have that much cash, but i want something clean. 3rd gen it is. even taking it back to when i was in middle school on the bus on the way to school there there was this white 97-98 debadged, full stillen kit with the wing and the classic MOMO Arrows parked outside this house i would see everyday, i think the yr was in 97 or 98. doing it big even back then

I always loved that Beige when I'd see it here, simple yet clean.

I have a green 98 GLE with almost 200K on it that is my daily driver. It's been paid off for years, and it's still in good overall shape. I commute like about 100miles a day, so it doesn't make any sense to buy a newer car just to rack up miles on. But I always wanted a newer 5spd max. I looked for about a year to find one that was DE-K equipped 5spd with green and tan leather interior. Almost identical to my 4th gen. So anyways, after hassling my wife for a year, she finally agreed. Last month I finally bought a 00SE/5spd, green with cloth with only 55K. Which sits in my garage most of the time. I've just started to buy parts to mod it (sts/catback/leather seats). So yes I have two Max's, but don't really need two. My family and friends think I'm nuts, first of all for buying basically two of the same car, secondly for being devoted to what they percieve as a "family" car rather than a classic/sports car. But I'm happy, and if you add up the total value of all 4 of my old cars, it wouldn't even be close to the cost of a nicer new car.

LOL that is too funny. thats what i'm talking about. they dont understand our love and devotion which leads them to believe we're nuts. but its more than just a "family". so yeah, i can see myself with two b/c theres ideas for both. i remember tellin my dad when i sold one max for another he was like "another one?" i said its an extension of my personality, fits me really well

Yeah, they all think I'm nuts, but hey, I finally got exactly what I want. Now I'm not obsessed with getting a 5th gen any more. I can actually think about other things, it was bad for a while, that was all I could think about. You know what, I think I like the 4th gen better. Oh well, maybe in time I'll love the 5th gen as much as the 4th, it's much faster, but I feel the fit n' finish is better on the 4th gen.

I've got two 4th gens. A 96 GLE Auto and a 95 SE 5 speed. And they are the same exact color, granite pearl metallic (KN6).
The 96 GLE (my wife's the main driver):

The 95 SE (my daily and hobby):
