FS: 2 x 97-99 3 Row LED Taillight PROTOTYPES

Well after a non-paying Ebay winner and another back out I'm going to do what I should have done in the first place. Up for sale is the last 2 3 row prototype sets i have (and will possibly ever make). These will be sold on a first come, first serve basis. No dibs.

Differences between these and production models:
  • It is likely that the production models will be a 4 row design.
  • Universal PWM circuit vs. an application specific PWM being designed. You will not be able to adjust the inner/outer brightness independently.
  • 9v regulation vs. 12v. It is strongly recommended that the PWM board be mounted with access to open air.
  • Production boards will be red instead of green.
  • Wire gauge change during assembly (will not effect performance or safety).

The installed pic shows an identical prototype set. The only thing I am waiting on is screws for the PWM board stand-offs (I ordered the wrong length) but they will be in this week.

Kit Includes:
  • 4 Marker/Brake boards
  • PWM
  • Wiring harness
  • Hardware
  • Early version of detailed installation instructions

$215 SHIPPED INCLUDING PAYPAL FEES

well these won't be your last chance. i'd have to say that anybody who really has their heart set on a 3 row design should consider these though.

Wait sh*t I just caught myself, it might not work because the actual red portion on the 97's is the reverse of the 95's lol. But who knows

thats why no one really makes them for real. People never follow through. I had 4-5 people ask me about them and start making deals then back out. It's not worth our time and effect to make them since the majority of the org won't actually purchase them ha

thats one way t look at it, but i prefer to just build them and have them stocked and ready (gives people less time to back out ). only problem is my funds are low at the moment so i need to get rid of some stuff so i can wrap up a couple projects.

from what I have read, he is not going to be doing the turn signals. I think that he had problems with the boards not curving to the shape of the lens or something like that. I also remember that he is planning on making the production set out of a 4 row led design. That was a little while ago though so things might have changed.

haven't been checking up on the fs section since i don't have any money to blow. lol.

heres where i'm at on the led tails. the last of the 3 row protos are gone. the production run will be soon (STILL waiting on a check) and will be 4 row design, no turns or reverse (although i did have some reverse prototypes made so there are some available but they will not be integrated into the system). the reason i'm not doing turns is because of the curvature of the housing. there is no way to mass produce something that would be up to my standards. i decided to drop the reverse because of aesthetic reasons ( i might work on the down the line, who knows?).

4 row proto liqiudation coming soon! production model to follow...
