Have no clue and need some help. I figure it is an easy fix but I cant put my finger on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thank you!!

 

Check your fluid level. If its fine more than likely your water pump is bad.

I had this problem but I don't know exactly what part was changed. I went to my friend's garage and within a few minutes he changed a piece located on the right side of the glove compartment (closed)..just look under there and you mind find something. The piece was small (hold it in one hand) and it costs about $50...I'm sure if you go to the dealer they can tell you what piece that is.

 

That may be the blend door actuator but this is a lil different than your problem. If you sit at idle with a car with low fluid then it wont circulate the fluid so it becomes cold. If the water pump is bad at idle it wont b spining enough to push fluid thru. Those are the 2 things i would check before anything.

 

or a clogging core. could be time for a power flush.

If the water pump wasn't pumping hard enough the car would over heat.
The heater core is probably clogged. You can try to purge it out, if that doesn't work you may need to replace it.

 

My car had the same problem and I just fixed it. It was caused by the air in the heater core. Start the car, let the radiator cap open, add new coolant to the radiator. Running the engine for a while and let the coolant heat up, you will see the air bubble coming out of the radiator.

Add additional coolant to the radiator next morning when the engine is cool.
