modifications for an 1988 Nissan Maxima? HELP!!!

HELP!

I just got this car...

I need some hop-ups ASAP

1.) Intake
2.) some sorta lights, clear, altezzas?
3.) engine mods... cam gears, header, etc.
4.) wheel & tire combo (4-lug 100mm) i think that's what they are...

where would be the best places to find these?

I went to a place here in GA called Euro Tuning, they can't find anything, but they're still looking...

Anybody on this forum know of anything? Please help!

please post here or e-mail me
I'd be greatly apprecaited!

1.) For the intake you'll have to make a custom CAI. Noone makes an intake for our cars. It's not too difficult, take out the airbox, run a 3" dryer hose from the MAF to the bottom of the car with a K&N cone filter connected to it. Make sure everything is sealed tight, no air leaks.

2.) As far as lights go, you can replace the two front turn signals in the bumper with clear ones. You can get these from your local Nissan dealership. Noone makes Euro/Altezza style lights for the taillights and there aren't any headlight replacements either. If you want a custom look, get some window tint spray and spray your taillights with them. As for the headlights, GTS makes headlight covers. You could get the plain smoke ones or you can get clear ones and get the mask kit to make a custom look.

3.) As far as engine mods go, you have a good bit of options. The engine is pretty much the same one as the 84-89 300ZX. You can get a turbo from JWT, cams from ISKY, and plenty of other stuff. Go to http://www.z31.com for more info.

4.) I can't remember what the bolt pattern is on the car, but anywhere you go to get a set of wheels will be able to get you the size that fits your car.

If you want more info and advice, join the Second Generation Nissan Maxima Club at http://clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/secondg...onnissanmaxima
