Brake noise (tight caliper?) Q

Hello...
My car has been sitting for 2 months, with engaged parking brake, albeit slightly. I got it to start and after driving a little bit, i can hear a grinding noise and feel as if the brakes are being applied slightly when cruising to a stop... from 20, 30 to 0. When coming to a complete stop, it produces a slight clunking noise..

I tried searching and I dont think that the results I've gotten are as relevant or similar.

I've got aftermarket brakes and had them for 2-3 years. Went through several brake pads meanwhile. No problems ever.

I definitely need new pads, but what do you guys think is the problem with the noise...? Tight calipers? Remedy?

Thanks

easy way to tell is to jack it up and spin. could be rust wearing off. all depends on how long you drove it after it sat.

Use the brakes firmly a few times, let them get warm. Then decide if they're still noisy.

All it takes is wet rotors and a few hours, and you'll have a layer of rust that will drag just a little bit until you wear off that layer.

Most likely this is whats going on. The rust will leave some pitting as well after it wears off, it will also take a few miles of driving before the rotors become smooth again. Give it some time I'm sure it will all smooth out.
