Been reading alot about KYB dust boots/ and bump stops about how quickly they tear or wear out...but those threads are a few years old...so, had the quality improve as of late? Or just got with the OEM ones and do my out cutting and glueing?

they are switching from the old rubber to the new polyfoam bumper material. should be easier to cut.

 

I use the stock bump stops, i cut them in half. I have no dust boots on my shocks, i have been running that way for about 2 years and no problems.
