Strut Tower nuts and bolts

I slightly damaged one of the bolts holding the strut to the strut tower while taking it off. Tomorrow I need to go and get a replacement nut (along with some PB blaster) from Autozone. Does anyone know the thread size?

Also, anyone know the torque specs for the 3 outer bolts and the single inner bolt on the front and rear struts?

I think the thread pitch is 10x1.25 but not sure.

For the torque 20 foot lbs is fine.

Wow, things are seriously frozen for only needing 20 foot pounds.

Thanks

Center nut torque = 44 to 65 foot pounds

Outer nut torque = 32 - 38 foot pounds

Be careful with the outer nuts as they seem to be quite soft. I have rounded off a couple when changing out my struts before...not fun. They also seem to become frozen as well over time. It might be a good idea to put some anti-sieze on the nuts just in case. If you do this, you will have to monitor the torque on a regular basis.

Wow, I could have swore I read somewhere that it was only 20-25. I always just hand tighten mine nice and firm wich is probly overtorqued. Never had a problem though

Got the torque specs straight from the Nissan FSM.
