How to remove coil wire clip ?

Checked the search but nothing came up....do you press down on the green arrow and pull or push up and pull? I tried it both ways and that sucker won't come off. I'm trying to change the spark plugs on my '99 Maxima and can't get the coils to come out without removing that clip/connector first.

Thanks!

You have to push down on the clip and push in the plug a little at the same time and then pull hard. Thats what i do to mine, and it works everytime.

Thanks guys, I actually figured it out after playing with it a little, I pushed down on the green clip, then used a flathead screwdriver to gently push back away from the clip and it worked fine.

Previous owner had Bosch plugs in there. They looked awful and were gapped at .55 !!! Just installed the factory NGK's properly gapped to .44, so it should run much better now.
