I currently have 180,000 miles on my maxima, The passenger side outer cv boot has been ripped for a few months(no clicking yet but very dirty inside the boot) and I am going to replace that side. The Drivers side is not ripped but has cracks in it. Should I just replace the boot or put a new axle on the drivers side as well considering the mileage and I don't know if it has ever been replaced?

Also the inner boot on the driver side feels like the cv joint is disconnected, so Im wondering if I broke it taking it out or if this is normal?
