First mod of Spring! Half size roof spoiler and black roof!

Had this since November, sunny day = warm glass = install

I know it's a small "mod" but I'm finally starting to clear parts out of the garage and onto the car.

Will update this thread tomorrow with my to-be BLACK roof woohoo!

Got the black roof! It is gloss vinyl for those curious.

It was done by Lee Berbs of Applied Film Technologies, great guy and def a pro.

I think black roofs look good on lighter colored cars. Since yours is dark blue, maybe keep it as is?

Holy nice! How long did it take and what's the warranty on the vinyl? If there's any.

Took 2 hours, and didn't ask about warranty. The installer is hella cool so I figure if I had a problem I call him and get it fixed.

Looks great man! Works well with the silver. Any plans for different wheels? I want this as well, to cover up my roofs condition, haha.

Was set on 19x8.5 G-Games 99B in gunmetal, but then read more about ride quality on 19s. So now searching for a similar wheel in 18.

Look for 18s without a lip (G35-esque, where the spokes stretch all the way out to the edge of the wheel). Remember that wheels with lips generally look at least 1" smaller than wheels without. Don't want to go through the bother of getting 18s just to have them look like 17s.

I was skeptical, but I like the look of the black roof. Looks very MB E-class-ish.

Maybe I should have a black roof put on mine...oh wait..

Ya I might just say screw it and buy G35C 18s and paint them gunmetal....sigh.

The G-Games 99B in 18s are gonna cost ~$2,500 from Japan so f that.

looks really great. i pm'd Bat ab8 a this for my i30 but didnt get a reply from him and i was too busy with school to do anything else. i think that really made the car stand out goes very nice with your black headlights. Sounds like a really great mod for the money and i think ia do it this summer but it would be awsome if you kno that other places do this mod also or i have to drive out there to nj from staten island to get it done. by the way this is just my opinion and i dont know how nj cops feel ab8 tints but i think you should get a darker tint for your rear windshield so it blends in with the roof. is this spoiler from the that group deal that was going on?

Mobile Addictions in SI does this too, ask for James (owner).

Already painted roof spoiler black, waiting for it to cure. Yes, that is the Ionic one in the group buy. Might go darker on the rear tint, but smoked tails will come first.

Smoking only the red area, leaving the clear areas clear. Will get you an address later.

James @ Mobile Addictions' cell = 718 877 7700, give him a call for pretty much any car work needed in SI, his prices and workmanship is very good.

It looks good overall. The back end does look a bit naked now with the window spoiler. It looks like it needs a lip or factory spoiler on the trunk to compliment it.

Have you ever thought about removing the infiniti emblem from the front? Or maybe even smoking or blacking it out. It would go great with the theme but It sticks out like a sore thumb now.

The car looks great so far though.
