I'm waiting on the new paint to dry right now. I'm thinking it'll look 100% better with actual metallic paint instead of that crappy silver I had on them.

Ok the clear tails are turning out way better than they were. I'll get some pics up tomorrow morning if I have time before work.
Tint would look good on those tails man. Even a light shade would suffice. I'd have to get up with you one weekend and check it out in person. I wish my TE wheels were as clean as yours back when I had them.
Lookin Good!
You get your Cattman stuff in yet?

I was hoping it'd arrive in the mail today, but no luck. Hopefully tomorrow. If they come in early enough I might even try to install before the track.
The only way I know to tint them really is with nightshades... and that stuff is very hard to get a light coat of. I haven't been able to find any tinted vinyl to use, and I'd really prefer preformed overlays.

I want to get the full headers and exhaust again too, but I just dropped most of my money on my system. It's my demo to be used as a marketing tool so I'll make that money back. I'll get the exhaust setup then. Hope you get it all in before track day......cutting it close though.

btw.....I did nightshades on mine, and you can check out my cardomain to see, but it does apply very lightly. I had to put on 5-6 coats in order to get it that dark. Just get it professionally cleared after you're done or else after a while it'll start to fade. If the overlays don't work out, that's what I'll do again this time.

Just checked tracking today and they left Ohio at like 1am this morning, so it's not likely they'll arrive today.
That's ok with me, because it will give me a chance to run with just my intake/spacers now, then see what I run with the full exhaust system later.

Then again, depends how fat your fingers are. Nice car btw sparks...tails are looking better! Just watch out with those 5k bulbs...you might start seeing a green tinge after a while.

Well I wanted something with a little bit of a blue tinge compared to the totally white 4300k stockers. I can imagine as they get some age on them, they will get a little more blue... but I've never heard of green on 5000k.
According to the people who went to the track with me yesterday, they appear blue/purple during the day, then very bright white/blue at night. I'm not sure why they looked purple to them during the day, maybe they were seeing some shift at the edges and it was a deep enough blue to appear purple in daylight.
Another member has 6000k HID/fogs and his really don't seem much more blue than mine. I'm just glad I didn't get 6000k or 8000k.
I bought them from operatic, it's possible they don't have the equipment to properly measure the kelvins and make guesses. Mine definately look just like some 6000k's I've seen before.

I know exactly what you mean but im just telling you from personal experience...might happen after a while. I had 6k before i got the 5k and after a year the 6k were getting too blue for me...now im back to stock. Would show you pics but you're good for now lol no point in scaring you. Car looks good though keep up the good work. The sidemarkers match well with the HIDs; are they LEDs?

Ok I got the cattman stuff in. I went ahead and threw on the fastcat and found out that my converter was HORRIBLY stopped up. I can't wait to hit the dyno again after I get the headers installed....
