No GST??

It's good to see Ottawa taking this in consideration, but how about those who bought the car after Sept. 11? I think people who bought their car after Sept. 11 should entitle to GST refund. Then my girlfriend will have extra $2300 to spend on her new Maxima which she bought a week ago.

And Martin has already ruled out making additional stimulative tax cuts – such as a temporary removal of the GST – as Liberal backbench MP Dennis Mills has suggested.

 

There is no way the Liberal government of Canada will ever eliminate--even temporarily--the cash cow they use to milk Canadians (please pardon the mixed metaphor)to finance the social welfare programs they use to buy votes to keep themselves in power--in perpetuity.
