Noise from front passenger side wheel well while turning
I've looked at many other posts about similar noises, but others described their noise as a squeak or groan, where mine is more of a -- well if you start your car, and then turn the key to start it again, it sounds similar to that, but less intense. The sound is never there when going straight and doesn't seem to matter if the car is cold or warmed up. I don't know whether or not water changes the sound. It happens whenever the wheel is even slightly turned, and seems to be worse at higher speeds. It is barely audible in the car, but if I drive next to a wall (or in a tunnel) with the windows down, the reflected sound is loud whenever I turn the wheel even just a little bit. I was thinking bearings, but read a post that said bearings would give the same sound whether the car was going straight or not. Breaking has not changed since the sound started and feels solid at any speed.

Sounds like your wheel bearing might be out or going out, if that is the case you will have to get a new hub and bearing, if you do it through the stealership its really expensive but if you go to like a gateway or something like that it runs about 230 and up. I usually do things on my own but unless you have a press to press the bearing into the hub your out of luck. I have had both my front bearings go out and nissan told me that you have to replace the hub and bearing b/c when the bearing goes it does just enough damage to the hub to need a new hub, so logically I didnt believe this and thought that it was just another way for nissan to suck money out of people and had just the new bearings pressed in and both new bearings needed to be replaced after 2300 miles. And if your going to do one you might as well do the other for a smoother ride. Go get it checked....also after reading your post again, mine didn't make any noise when I was going straight, only when I gave it a slight turn like changing lanes or going around corners
Could be a bad bearing, or a bad Strut bearing. Both are realtviely cheap and fairly easy to change.
The bearing would have to be pressed in, but I take mine tog et serviced at the local tire shop and am charged about 70$ for labor.
The strut bearing is just like changing a strut, again, not the easiest but definitely doable with some time.

try checking your dust shield, when i changed my cv axle i accidentially bent it in to where it was very close to my rotor. It was on the left (driver) side and only made noise when i turned right but was loud as hell outside the car but not to bad inside.
The fix is as easy as pulling your wheel and using a screwdriver to space the dust shield again, if that happens to be your problem.
