what needs to be done for rear trunk rattle 5th gen

Ive already dynamated the hell out of my trunk and the lid right behind the license plate keeps rattling...ive stuffed shirts and old t shirts in the trunk lid itself...The culprit seems to be coming from that little attachment right BEHIND our license plates

IT JUST WONT STOP RATTLING!, AND ITS DRIVING ME NUTS, lol

can any one be of assistance

lol, i hear you on that bro. I did that with my entire trunk, But its like that plate behind the license plate...when i press it down hard, RATTLING GOES AWAY ALL TOGETHER....but when i take my hand off, it comes right back...I still need to dynamat my rear deck a bit more and stuff some foam under the carpeted panel

The rattling is caused by two pieces of material vibrating together...isolate the culprit and add foam in between them....much cheaper than adding several layers of mat to stop the resonating...
