Ported VQ35 manifold pics..
We spent some time working with a VQ35 manifold today.. Came out pretty nice.. The guy that helped do the work, ports cylinder heads for a living.. and gave me a few pointers on what to cut and how to shape certain parts for optimal mass flow and port velocity..

He said that he wouldn't mind doing a few for you guys if you want to try them out.. I will be testing this set on a VQ swapped Spec V.. with cams, bolt-on's, reflashed ECU with 7300rpm rev limiter, and tuning.

This guy is REALLY good at what he does... He does a lot of Dodge magnum (318/360) heads and intake manifolds.. He is a good friend of mine, and I wouldn't hesitate to put my stamp of approval on his work..
Here's a rough idea of what we kicked around today.. in terms of work/pricing..
1. Shelf removal, and reshaping of the interior (if you notice.. he left a radiused lip between the runners.. this will increase port velocity.. A flat edge isn't as helpful..
2. CNC'd aluminum power valve removal cover (gets rid of the ugly modified power valve assembly)
3. Ported/modified elbow.. gasket matched on the throttle body, and manifold side..
4. Gasket matched/ported runner entries (into the lower intake manifold)
5. Gaskets/sealant tossed in, and fully assembled.. ready to install..
With the power valve cover, the cost will be a little higher.. but, we're looking at a total price of 295.00, shipped to your door.
Here's the breakdown..
Intake shelf removal and cleanup- 100.00
Port matched runners (into lower manifold)- 25.00
Reshaped/ported elbow- 75.00
CNC'd side cover to remove power valve cover- 55.00
Gaskets- 10.00
Packaging/shipping- 30.00
I'm not going to make horsepower claims until I test it on our vehicle.. but, I would like to think that we would squeeze around 15whp out of this.. I'll let you know how testing goes, and I'll post up dyno charts/videos when it's said/done..

When will these be available and does he need a core? I'd be installing this with the NWP spacers which I have. Does that change anything as far as the work being done?

Any ballpark figures for pricing?

also would like to know pricing
