CCFL Retrofit into Ebay Projectors

Took me about one weekend to do. I dont have a write up but if anyone is considering this mod feel free to PM me I have a lot of good advice to share.

At night they are bright as hell...sure beats the crap LEDs that the lights came with.

I went with the 95mm rings for the projectors and the 105mm rings for the high beam....the actual measurements of the rings that come in the ebay projectors are closer to 93mm and 103mm but 95/105 works fine you just need to spend some time on the fitment and alignment (glueing them is a B*TCH)

As a word of caution you need to know that the rings are EXTREMELY fragile; the soldering doesnt appear to be done very well where the +ve wire connects to the cathode inside of the ring itself and I had a ring stop working before I even got the lights back together..I can only assume that I looked at it the wrong way lol.

Can you post some pics of your light output/cutoff with the ebay projectors?

It seems like for those of us with 02-03 headlights already, it'd be better cost effective to get a set of the TSX projectors off that website that you linked (190 bucks) and retrofit them
