I have an 07 in black..Anyhow, as we all know it has the black "diffuser" in the middle unlike the other years..Now I'm just wondering on black maximas, is that diffuser thingy the same color as the car, or is it like just a plastic..The reason I'm asking is because my bumper got hit, and I'm getting it painted..But I can't tell if its a different shade, or if the bumper is all one color..I might just tell the shop to mask that part off, and paint the rest of the bumper..

 

On the other color Maximas, the don't paint it. So I would assume the black doesn't get paint either.

 

yeah, i just swapped my bumper for the 07 one and i didnt paint the diffuser part. my max is onyx btw

 

On my precision grey Max, it is the same body color.

Yes, SL's come painted and SE's do not (as far as i was told) It has a texture on it so you don't need paint...

 

so mine is an sl..and i should tell them shoot the whole bumpeer..correct?
