300ZX full "bbk"

As most of you know, there are adapter brackets that will allow the 300ZX 4POT calipers to fit on our fronts...also 2-piece rotors...all supplied by this guy http://blehmco.com/index.htm

The front brackets/SS lines cost $225 shipped IIRC...and the front calipers can be found for about $100 a piece at your local autoparts store...already re-built.

NOW...the rear brackets might happen for the 6th gen...I don't know about you guys, but I would really like having a 4POT/2POT "bbk" that has the NISSAN logo on it...legitimately, not stickers.

Let's show some interest in the rears, so that he might actually care, and produce some for the 6th gen.

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=554841

Deus is the only 6th genners with the front calipers.

Fronts=<$500 for 4POT calipers w/brackets and SS lines
Rears=possibly the same as fronts, or less depending on how the mounting goes for the calipers.

So, < $1,000 for a "bbk"...half of it at least...this would not include larger 2-piece rotors.

Let's discuss and spark some more interest.

I'm pretty sure there is one other member with the Z32 upgrade up front. It's black, goldish wheels. No, I know it's not Dues.

And for some reason, I remember a black max with bronze wheels on it too. I wonder if that was Dues back in the day?

Ok, so just for my sake, can you refer to them as the Z32BBK upgrade? Maybe even Z32TT.

OP, you should get a hold of Matt directly. Your brakes are different that ours (4th/5th gen OEM) and therefore, your rear 'system' will be a little different 'design'.

Your OEM brakes work like the Z32 (internal drum), unlike ours (4/5 gen). So, you may not be dishing out as much as you think, but then again, it might mean more research/test fit/fabrication.

I'm no expert in the area, but Matt is, so that's why you should touch base with him via PM. Or maybe he'll chime in

Yeah, I've been contacting him through PMs and he's been telling me that we may only need the bracket, which is why I was guesstimating the price to be close to the front brackets/SS lines

Dude I swear were twins...

Well today I went to test drive the G37S , I notice they somewhat use Brembo but they are all Painted Silver with Infiniti on them..

The Brakes are sick , the car is pretty quick, I want the Steering wheel and Seats , The bottom peice extend outs like a lazy boy chair..

Sweet ride $40Gs out the door for prem package without Navi..

Im debating now.

Oh yeah depending on the cost of the Brackets im a 50/50

well It has a bit more spunk than the 35 , the 37HR revs smoother than the 35...

I'll post up pics of my rides as soon as I get a shoot done next week

I'm not exactly impressed with their torque numbers. An HR seems to have more torque punch than the G37 does on paper.

Brake Options??

Are there any "other" options for upgrading the stock Calipers / Brakes / Rotors on the 07 Maxima?

I don't have pics yet, but I recently installed the Y-Pipe Back Cattman Exhaust, F5 Cold Air Intake, and Vogtland Suspension Springs. Plan to do the intake manifold next, spacer, and header once Brian has them complete.

I'd like to have a big cross Drilled Rotor, and if they MAKE a brembo, i'd go with that... but I dont think they do. Money really isn't a factor on my end. Main concern is a bigger caliper with better braking response, and the look of it. I'd prefer red, since most "racing" performance brakes are associated with this color. No I'm not interested in painting the factory ones. A Front and Rear type system would be preferable, but I'm not sure what my options are yet.

Help?

Wilwood

Wow, are these any good? I've never heard of em! $1650 for fronts, and $1350 for the rear. Hmmm... The only thing I don't like is that they say "wilwood" on them.

There's no other kits out there then this? How do these perform?

Man... I really am tempted to spend the 3000 on the front 6POT and rear 4POTs tonight... "then the transformation will be complete!"

Well... not really, still need sway bar, strut bar, new performance shocks/struts, the intake manifold, throttle spacer..... damn, if there were only a bolt on Turbo or Supercharger available...

I'm gonna try taking pictures of her tomorrow.

Negative,

From SpeedForceRacing.

"We dont have a kti availabel for the 07' Maxima right now.We can sell you a stage 2 Altima kit for the stage 1 price but you will need to have two exhaust pipes made for the system to work on your car."

Looks like I'm out of luck there....
