Clutch pedal question...

Ok so i did a 5 speed swapp... now i have a stock clutch (new) and what i cant figure out is why i only get friction about 70% when releasing the clutch.. its pissing me off...

i have a SS clutch line.. and it is bleed properly... have a new master cylinder and slave also...

now i have tried to adjust the pedal freeplay and it only makes the pedal have less through but he engagement point is still the same....

Did you install the all talked about "Shim" on the firewall when installing the Master ??

I believe that there are two adjustments for the clutch. Try both

Is your clutch slipping? Do you just not like the feel, or is there an actual problem?

when i adjusted mine i loosened the bolt and then took a needle nose pliers to turn the actual rod that is going into the firewall. if you turn the rod up the pedal engages low, if u turn it down it engages higher and slips. atleast this was my case, someone correct me if im wrong.

Maybe I don't understand what you mean...but it doesn't sound like a problem to me. My clutch has a couple thousand miles on it (replaced in december) and it doesn't start engaging until about 60% out. As long as yours is not slipping, what's the problem?
