Best 60'foot and 1/8 Mile 1.3 60' and 8.0 1/8 mile!

Today I went to Capital for the Top Dog Event unfortunately due to the extremely hot weather they only run the 1/8mile except for the pro mod cars. I try tried a new way to launch today I figured I would work on my 60'foot today. I was a little scared, I came out the hole with my nitrous on an ran my best 60' foot and 1/8mile! I think I would of ran a 12.5 or 12.6 on this pass if I was running the 1/4 because my best pass at 12.801 my 1/8 of was 8.276. Here's the slip!

woah....hold up.....

could you explain in a little more detail how you pulled a 1.3 60'

it doesn't make sense man....

your last slip had a 1.9xx 60'..... 75 shot right?
if that's the case then 1.9-1.3= .6
12.8 - .6= 12.2.....not 12.5 or 12.6

did you spray a 150 shot out of the hole or something??

Not that your car isn't a beast....but 1.3's are next to impossible in most any car....not to mention a FWD max.

Nice 8th mile, an 8.0 is good for a 12.6 or so.

But as others have said, the 60' is most likely a timing glitch.

Actually, every 1/10 off your 60', equals about 2 tenths off your 1/4.
sooooo, that would have been a 11.7- 11.6 pass. But Capitol has been known to have problems with there clocks. I have 4 timeslips that say i pulled a 1.84 60' in my auto 4thgen with intake and exhuast on 18's. But ran a 15.4

Any reason why you werent spraying out the hole before? Traction issues?

Because of Traction Issues spraying it out the hole. I thought I would work on my 60' so I was running different tires pressures and I made one pass out the hole with the nitrous switch engaged and my front tires hopped a couple of times of the line I stayed in it and they hooked.

they may have hooked but you didn't pull a 1.3 60' time. flat out impossible. this timeslip is in error.

a 1.3 is impossible for a maxima. No maxima will ever - ever run a 1.3 60' time. Ever.

isn't it almost impossible for ANY front wheel drive car to run a 1.3??

what do the FWD dragsters get? like maybe 1.5??

For reference, ZZP's FWD drag Grand Prix cuts mid to low 1.4 60 foot times on a good day. That's a totally reworked chassis that's not even really a GP anymore on massive slicks and 600 to 700 WHP. That thing is in the 8's. Given that, I think it's safe to say the 1.3 60' was an error

Neal, "never say never" People have said "never" about lots of things about the Maxima and inevitably they have all come true. This one is pretty far fetched, but you never know The vehicle running that kind of time wouldn't really be much of a Maxima anymore, but ehh.

There are some things that I'm confident enough about to say will never ever happen. This is one of them.

Yeah 1.3 60ft is a timing glitch. Built tube frame drag cars cut 1.3's. I just dont see a pretty much stock suspension wise maxima cutting anything less then a 1.7.
