Bumpstop trimming question. Please HELP!!!

Hey. I'm replacing the entire front suspension on the Max and I'm on the last step. Ordered dustboots and bumpstops to go on new front shocks. I'm not lowering or anything, original height is good for me. Question is, the new bumpstops don't fit into the upper spring perch, which doesn't allow me to fit the other pieces on. Only boots available at the store and I had to special order. Noone sells the recommended ones anymore and these were suggested by Nissan as a suitable replacement. I would need to trim .25 inch off all the way around to get them to fit. Any suggestions??

Trim them. If you are not lowering then you should be ok. FYI, I dont have any bump stops or boots at all...... I dont recommend it but everything is fine...

I agree, a quarter inch trim won't hurt anything especially if its not being lowered.
