My friend has a 1995 Nissan maxima SE it a 5 speed

Motor blew and he swapped in a motor out of a 1997 and are having igntion(starting,idling) problems. My friend says there might be something wrong with the engine harness, and also told me that it has to be a 1995 or 1996 manual or else it wont work

If you have a an engine harness sitting around I will take it off of your hands. I need a cluster too

u sure its the harness? u mite wanna double check everything cuz i did do a swap like taht it was a 97 manual trans motor that i put in my cousins 95 auto...everything was perfect except for the fuel lines, cuz we had em hooked up the opposite way....

 

So which harness and ECU did you use?

 

95 auto GLE...

i have a 95 5spd, 96 auto, and a 96 infiniti i 30 auto harness layin somewhere?

 

I will take the 95 manual engine harness if you can find it
