Another Victim fallen to Don's VB Mod (1/4 Mile Time)

After waiting around for 3 hrs I got one run in at E-town yesterday

Best Time Before Vb mod (@ Maxus '01) was:
ET: 16.11
RT: .67
60': 2.40
Trap Speed: 87.77

Yesterday at E-town:
ET: 15.58
RT: .65
60': 2.41
Trap Speed: 87.54

Bear in mind that it was 15-20 degrees cooler yesterday compared to Maxus and I dumped my spare for the run, those could have very well played into the time, along with the vb mod.

This is exactly why I will get a few runs in before drag season closes. 1 run isn't good enough.

yeah 15.5 is about where you should be. IIRC synki and ant both had not so hot results with the vb as well. still a good time none the less

Launched at the yellow light, like ya told me
Actually, launch was poor... should have got it up to 1500 rather than 1100rpm. Fronts were at 28psi, took the donut and sub out.

Ran with my rolling concrete blocks. Couldn't fit Brett's wheel spacers on

Uh, the upper portion of the back seat is bolted on, how do you take it off without tools?

28psi too high of pressure! but the important thing is that you got a better time... congrats

Great work Ange!!! What sucks is that I stripped my car of my tire and sub to go to NED for the last day of racing and it was rained out. I was expecting a 15.7 compared to Maxus's 16.1. I'll have to wait until next season.

Nice run 97MaxGurl. Like Sprint said, it had to be your better skills that improved your time. When I got my VB, I didn't noticed any better acceleration, even though I didn't go to the track to test it. The VB is more designed to prolong and strenghten the auto tranny, espcecially if you want to add NOS or SC in the future. My VB is holding up very nicely with the SC. Even though the VB makes the shifts firmer, I don't think it will improve anyone's track time really.
