They're the sensors in the front wheel hubs on ABS, Non LSD cars. I broke both of mine trying to take the hubs off the car and now have no abs or inspection. I'd be willing to buy the whole wheel hubs to insure the sensors aren't broken upon removal by seller if price isn't horrible. I can trade two front bose speakers with amps if wanted. Thanks!

 

I have a 1995 GXE from canada. I'm not to sure if those sensors are on it, but they are there if they are on it. PM me if you know

 

The VSS in mounted in the transmission.

Perhaps you are referring to the ABS sensors? Those are mounted in the knuckle/ wheel hub.
