High Beams with Fogs

Has anyone rewired their foglights so that they can come on with the high beams? If so how did you do it? Thanks!

When you do the foglight rewire you can run the fogs with the High beams, low beams or park lights.

yes! i bypassed the factory wiring for the stock fogs. I ran all new wiring down to the fogs and into the car with a whole new switch. Pretty much drilled a small hole on th eback of the stock fog light housing and ran the wire direct to the bulb. Be sure that you leave all the other harness's connected, they act as the ground for the light. Also make sure you run a 20amp inline fuse on the return line down to the fogs, or else you wil blow them in the event of a power surge.
BTW, they will NOT shut off when you turn the car off, or make a buzzing sund to remind you.
But if you wanna wire them to shut down when the key is out of the ignition you have to find an ignition wire as your source for power rather than the battery direct. Look under the steering column in the fat wiring harness coming down from the ignition, look for a thick yellow or orange wire as your source.
**make sure you test the wire for true ignition and wont be effected by you turing on and off headlights and or accessories.

goodluck!

Anthony

good luck!
