Thinking of powdercoating...

This is the 2 options I have. The 18" wheels that are on my car now need refinishing. I was thinking of getting them powdercoated but wasnt really too sure of what color. I have never been a fan of all black but I do have black wheels on my mustang but they have a polished lip.

The 2nd option is to get my 19" wheels powdercoated. With these I would get the insides powdercoated black and leave the polished lip. I think it would look killer on my car. What do you guys think?
18's...

19's...

1st things first though I have to spend $430 next week on a new set of S/S's. I am getting Tokiko Illuminas to help out my S techs. My KYB GR2's are shot. I took the front one off to check it and I pushed it in and it didnt come back out. I also have to get 2 new tires for the 19's 275/30/19 which is going to run me $350ish also.

why does it have to be black powdercoat? there are limitless other options. as far as the 19s, since they are not true multipiece im not sure if powdercoating is an option if you want to leave the lip. probably have to paint that.

I know I was wondering what everyone else's opinion was on what color to get the Z wheels painted.

on a silver car i would just go silver. for a custom touch go through a couple silvers with your powdercoater and try to find a perfect match to the color of your car.

i think anything else is not going to match the style of an i30, but i guess that really depends on what look you're after.

how about gunmetal for you 19's but i really prefer them the way they are. i would much rather spend my money on eibach springs but watever u like...how about black inside with red lip aka time attack wheel look? im more of a sporty aggressive look type of person but since its an i30 im saving money to buy a sports car for that kind of modification.

also pls tell me what percent tints you have..mine are way too dark

The silver on both sets of wheels already looks great. Black would look terrible. If you must do something then play around with different shades of silver, but I think it'd be a waste.
