So this is the deal... when i turn on the car in the morning (mainly happens at that time) i hear this sort of like humming noise when i turn on the ac... if i turn it off it goes away... it does not do it all the time but the pattern has been it mainly happening in the morning... after an while driving the noise goes away, any ideas or things i should check out that are causing this noise...

This happened to me too but it did it all day, it was a fairly loud humming. I'm not sure what it was or what caused it but it went away by its self somehow. My guess is something just rattled loose.

 

Chances are, this is your problem (see link). Worth investigating before you take it to a mechanic/stealership

Does it hum at speeds 1,2,3 and 4 or only 3,4-ish. My blower motor was doing that some weeks ago,took it apart washed it out and that was it. It was dirty i guess.

 

no it mainly just does it when the ac is on... but i was going to check it out what was said above later today... hopefully its that.. il let u guys know.

 

so i tried that out... didnt see anything in there was clean and what not... someone told me that it could be the same motor of that fan that was causing the noise (to be honest when i heard the noise. i didnt really hear it coming from there...
my wife states that she has heard that noise when the ac is off, and its more towards the driver side...

any ideas??? or something worth checking?
