Temporary rims on - spacers suck

So I sold my 18" 5ziggen FN01-C rims. I plan to go with OEM Z or G coupe rims so I wouldn't have to use spacers, however I don't have those yet. I picked up a set of rims for my 5.5 gen, but put them on since I need rims on my 4th gen. Anyway they didn't clear my BBK with 20mm spacers. I had to put my 5mm spacers on in addition to the 20mm for a total of 25mm. I sure didn't like the result. The fronts stick out way too much...and it's more noticeable with 235/45/18 tires. They also rub the outside splash shields. Good thing is it's only temporary. I really do like the rims though, and I think they will look good on the 5.5 gen.

They are 18" Zen Type R rims, thanks mtrai760!

agreed - they look aweful.
though they are very nice rims, not to mention a pretty nice pearl white max.

H&R's with tokico blues. The rears sag pretty bad because of my amps and subs. Down the road I will hopefully be replacing them with a set of Tien Basics.

Alright, so I swapped wheels with the 5.5 gen (GLE 17's). The 17's actually clear better. Basically 20mm in the front, 5 mm in the rear. I'm amazed that they cleared because 5th gen SE rims will not clear with 20mm spacers. I like how the 17's give my BBK the illusion of looking even bigger than they really are.

For never being a fan of the GLE 5.5 gen wheels, those look really great on your car. Nicely done!

Thanks for the 5Zigen's.

Your car looks much better with the 17's.

I'm waiting for my spacers to come in so I can get the rear caps on.

lol, I should send you a pic of the rear dust caps on the car. Ian made the 5ziggen ones fit...but holy crap! It's all dented in.
