HELP!!!! I F----ED up my WINDOW!!!!!

Hey whats up guys I really need some help. I wanted to be skillful by removing the console on the passenger side and replace the bulbs for my windows. however me being me i had to screw something up. well i put it back togeather wihtout replacing the bulb and it doesnt work!!! I cant operate the windows from the passenger or the driver side (for the passenger window) so i took it apart again and i saw there were some ***** and like springs that were broken BUT why doesnt the window open or close from the driver side. you guys think itll cost alot to fix? damnit why am i so STUPID!!!! thanks in advance....

I did the same thing...

i try'd that to.. and wut happends is that when u take aprt the window switch the crap thats inside the switch gets all messed up.. thats wut they told me at the dealer.. at first they thought it was the motor, and tried to hit me with a $300.00 repair bill.. but the motor is fine.. its just that buy take'n it aprt and not putting bac together the right way, burns out the power line to the switches.. and thats y u can't open the window.. i'm not to sure how much it will cost to get fixed.. i just got my fixed by a friend so.. but i have no clue to how he got it to work.. but just go to the dealer and make up some bull $hit, and say that it just broke or something and if your warranty is still good that will cover the bill.. well good luck on getting it fixed....

hey adam get ahold of areX (org member)the same thing happend to him...im not sure if he got it fixed but he might be able to help...btw i always screw somethin up when I do my own mods!!!
