Stock Suspension!

I would just like to thank everyone here for messing with my head. My stock ride used to be SO comfortable but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO you guys had to point out how much I need a FSTB. Everytime I go on a stupid on-ramp or take a high speed turn I feel like I'm in a boat. Thanks a million!!!

btw, my FSTB is on order.

Kool, I know you guys are the experts and all but do I really need a RSB? I've read different comments on the forum saying the the back end is already good and the RSB is just mental. .....um not saying that you guys are mental or anything but seriously?

As far as the 5th gen goes...I don't think there are many people who have said anything but positive things about the results of an RSB.

Mine is sitting on the living room floor for installation this weekend.

I'd put them in this order:

1. Tires (even on stock rims). Stock tires are real crap!
2. FSTB
3. Porterfields brake pads
4... Whatever you like

It's my opinion only, based on my own expierence. Next thing I'll go with will be shocks for sure and RSB sometime too. I'm not that much for anything changing mostly look or sound of the car and spending several hundreds for something like that just doesn't make sense to me. Again, it's my opinion only - probably, I'm getting older and more "reasonable".

Mike.

"Reasonable"????? Last time I heard that word was when people at worked insulted me and accused me of buying a "family car"!!!!

The very first thing I did was change my dashboard and completed my system, therefore, when I become "reasonable" I'll have everything in the MAx anywayz!! No I need to do the other mods quickly before I get .............OLD.

I dont know about you, but why waste brand new tires when you can use them, (they arent extremely bad) then get some nice new tires? just how i see it..

In my case by the time I went for winter set(Canada, you know), I put about 10K miles on them and half of the tread on the front was gone. So, they weren't brand new in that sense. Next spring it was no way anybody could force me to put them back for the summer, after I've been driving all the winter on the good ones. I bought the summer set and my tire place didn't give me a dime for my stocks as trade in. They're quite honest - they gave some money for pair of 4-year old winters for my friend without problem, and those looked not that impressive at all. Anyway, as one of my friends noticed, you drive as fast as your tires allow you, so set of good ones makes a world of difference.

my 2c, Mike.
