Went to track friday

I went to this track 4 or 5 times I couldn't get any better 60ft than 2.2 and 1/8 mile was 9.3 best. That was only two time I had 9.3 when it was cold last year. I dont know if its the oil or i just got better suddenly. I did my oil change and went to track. I always used Castrol GTX. This time I used Mobile 1 Full syn. oil. I ran 5 times weather was around 85F.

First Run (Didn't let the car cool down)

.19
2.44 60ft
6.47
9.14
9.73 1/8 @76.01mph

Second Run (After 15 min)

.44
2.25 60ft
6.22
8.87
9.46 1/8 @ 76.65mph

Third Run

.41
2.19 60ft
6.11
8.74
9.32 1/8 @ 77.34mph *Best Run

Fourth Run

.08
2.18 60ft
6.12
8.77
9.35 1/8 @76.53mph

Fifth Run

.0060
2.19 60ft
6.14
8.79
9.38 1/8 @76.38mph

nice times...hit up the quarter if you can. You are riding the clutch a bit on the launches right? because for your car and mods i dont think you would be getting good 60' on street tires just dumping it.

awesome, i've heard nothing but great things about Maxima's engine/tranny reliability. Those japanese sure can build a solid car
