front brake pad wear indicators 4 or 2?

I bought a set of cheap front pads from Autozone and only 2 out of all 4 pads have wear indicator/sensors on them but my originals have all 4 with rings that go over the caliper clips. Must I have indicators on all 4 pads? I installed the pads with the indicator on the outside of the rotors and they seem to do fine.

Most aftermarket pads have the wear indicators on the outer pads only. The Pro Stop Ceramic pads I bought had all 4 though.

Why cheap pads? The ceramic pads I bought were only $45.

thanks, just picked up another pair of wagners for $45 and the autopart's store turned my rotors for free, can't beat that. Now I have a set of spares. Just rebuilt my front calipers too, hope the brake vibration in the steering wheel doesn't come back any time soon
