My friends 2001 max SE BCM (body control module) went out now his car won't start and its at nissan and their asking $500 for theirs, is there a cheaper way to go out besides going to nissan directly, its there a site where i can get close to OEM for cheaper prices, any help and feedback would be greatly appreciated

 

You can go to dealer websites like http://www.nissanparts.org/ which is good for about a 15% to 25% discount or if you are O.K. with used parts you can go to http://www.car-part.com which for a part like a BCM should go for about 80 to about 150 dollars.
