Hey i need some measurements from people that are lowered with springs. Could you please measure from the ground to the bottom of your front bumper and let us know the height? thanks

 

that completely depends on the springs, you can't make a general statement like that. plus what with front lip? lol the best point to measure is from the bottom to the beginning of your fender. and since i'm way to lazy to do that myself. here you go

I have S-Tech and from the ground to the front bumper is 6 inches. It 4-5 inches for the chassis. The transverse beam is the lowest point. The wheel is barely tucked in the fender. Stock rims 225/55/16 yoko s-drive. I had K-Sport before this and this was about an inch lower but those are coilovers and completely custom adjusted.

 

oh reason why u ask is because i want to know if the car will be lower or higher than my supra. my supra sits 4" from the ground and i can just barely make it up my driveway.

 

hmm that sounds almost perfect... i was looking into the ksport springs. from what i hear they are progressive springs compared to the stechs. i really dont mind stiff rides since im used to it. so that transverse beam, is that the 4-5 inches from the ground?

 

K-Sports coilovers are not progressive. They ride super hard. When I got mine they used 9k front and 6k rear. Now i see they use 8k front. 9k=550lb /in and 6k=350lb/in. 8 is 500+. I never used ksport springs but all teins stechs are progressive. I have used teins prior to I30 which is why a came back. Dont get ksports. If your looking for coilovers, go straight to jic and get VIPs.


The transverse link is 4-5 inches from the ground. It will take most of the scrapes you will hear. As long as you know how to drive dropped cars, drive ways should be second nature now. Always going up at an angle should prevent any issues.
