It was clear and I thought it was about 80 degrees, but my timeslips show 98 and 99 degrees.

get slicks unless you plan on running on DRs on the street too. DRs as track only tires are not worth it.

where do you live? you can't trust the conditions listed on timeslips, the sensors they use are often WAYYYYY off. not to mention it's not exactly hard to tell the difference between 80 and 100 degrees.... were you sweating your azz off or weren't you lol

By the way, very very nice times.

I am going to try some road race tires with 99 tread wear that I have in my basement. Hopefully I can get some 1.8 or 1.9 60 foots.

Nice runs man. I remember my first time running you at the track we were neck and neck. I finally cut a 1.9 on my street tires friday and trapped 102 but my et just wont get better.

Could those temps have been the actual track temps instead of the temp under the shade trees? I often see track temps over 100*F with air temps around 80*, and have raced when the start line was 135* - and have been to a PINKS episode when the track temp was 150*F. The boots of the Hooter girls stuck them to the track - wow.
