WTB: Does anybody have a busted auto tranny laying around?
All I need is the torque converter housing from a 95-03 RE4F04A/V transmission in order to do my 3rd gen 3.5 swap. If the tranny is already off the car, it will only take about 5 minutes to remove the torque converter housing.
Just remove the 21 bolts and it will fall right off with a little tap with a soft hammer. There is one alignment pin furthest from the torque converter area which can get a little corroded. Be sure to pull straight up on the housing to ensure you don't crack it.
Here's what the torque converter housing looks like:

Here's what the backside of the torque converter housing will look like once removed from the main tranny casing:

Here are the bolts you need to remove:

Please post, PM or email me if you think you can help me out.

originally I thought I had left it outside, but when I took apart my tranny I decided to keep this piece inside my garage actually. So its got the usual dirt on it but its been fairly well kept. Should be what your lookin for, original auto open-diff tranny out of my '95..had 150k on it when removed.

Thank you everyone for the fast response! But late yesterday afternoon after I already left the office I found the part I needed from another member. It should arrive early next week.
