Bulb vs. LED

Which one is brighter? 194/168 Bulbs or LED? How white are the LEDs? Where would you recommend getting it? Whats the brightest and whiteet bulb? thanks everyone.

the led's are brighter....there like 1.99-3.00 at your local pep-boys or adv.auto parts

well the 194 bulbs are for 80% of the bulbs in your car, what i have done:

reverse lights, step sides, parking lights, trunk lights the list goes on its a quick easy mod to do and its cheap... led's are brighter and more white than regular bulbs...

LEDs fit into the side markers just like 194s?

well they say LED im not sure if they are "true" led's but the package says Hyper White LED's type 194 so yah they fit... 2.99 a pair

wow, i never saw the white ones for reverse. that would be cool. where did you get them?

I got the 194 leds, there are four leds jamed in there, AND MAN are they bright. nice and white.

I paid like $12 on eBay for htem

who on ebay would you recomend? I never ordered from them so I want someone who I can trust.

I recommend this guy, his ebay id is "terrshop" and email is ter@terrshop.com. He has over a 2000+ rating.

The front turn signals on a 00-01 is a 1157. On a 2002 it is a a superwedge bulb.

Ok, I never saw the white leds before, are they just for looks or are they really THAT much brighter? WHich is what I want. Brighter reverse.

yah reverse lights are also 194's....btw don't you all think my blue reverse lights are cool........visability=0

the led's are bright as hell, however for my reverse lights i have blue bulbs so there not as bright as my LED side markers...

Hawaii sucks when it comes to being legal. I don't dare put on blue bulbs. Heck, I need safety check next month, and I dunno where to go to passwithout my high lights (i'm using HID so no high lights).

Anyways, I gotta find me a pair of those white reverse lights. I want bright behind me.
