09 Max Picking her up on Sat

My Maxima is finally in and if wasn't for Halloween tomorrow I would be getting her on Friday, but I'll have to wait one more day. I have only owned black nissans, with the exception of my wifes' 2 white muranos. This time I decided to change to white. I saw the car in white with the dual sunroof and the black roof just set it off. Of course, I will be tinting out the windows, like all my cars.

In the Spring I plan on changing the rims/tires to black 19" or 20" rims.

White Frost
Caffe Latte Interior
Preimum Package
Technology Package
Bluetooth
Rear Spoiler

I'll still have my '05 Max for 2 more months, so I will really be able to tell the side-by-side differences.

Can't wait to post her....

Wow, I picked her up saturday morning. The white w/black roof is awesome. The caffe latte interior with the bacl dash looks great as well. I'll take pics today and post tonight. I feel bad though, my '05 is just sitting there cleaned, but not touched.

the car so so awesome. I love the color combo. This is my first white car. I love the view from the driver seat, looking over the hood bulges. I have't really laid into her yet. BUt i plan too. I had my 05 maxima up to 120, so i'd like to see what she does.

This is the plan:
1. cold air induction
2. tinted windows
3. black rims, either 19 or 20" rims

I'll keep everyone posted.

I certainly understand your excitement. You have exactly the combo I am currently negotiating with my salesperson for. But I would drive somewhat carefully the first one or two thousand miles, as, despite urban rumors, these Maximas are NOT broken in when they arrive at dealer's lots. You will have a much happier life with this beautiful car if you break it in properly. And the onboard computer will 'rat' on you (and perhaps void the warranty) if you push the car too hard during the break-in period and something breaks. There will be plenty of time to test things out after breakin.

Actually, i have waited for the break in period to end in all my cars and motorcycles. But once that is over, believe me I test them out. Thanks.

Well done! When the time comes, we will be very interested in how this '09 performs for you. Magazine testers are saying the handling is markedly better, but I want to hear this from sources on this board like you who will be spending lots of time in this car.

I am heading to Atlanta tomorrow for business. So, I got in the '05 today to move it out of the driveway and wow what a difference it felt just sitting in the two cars back-to-back. I'll be driving the '05 tomorrow to the airport.
