New PB 95' 13.7@101

Well im finally fixed my midrange loss somewhat by unplugging my CPS(REF) sensor so I decided to go to the track.

My cars condition was blown shocks, busted flexpipe, full interior with 2003 maxima front seats, 3/4 tank of gas, all season 16" tires. No tune but running a little lean after 5500

mods are in my sig
Best time slip was a
.508 rt
2.12 60ft
13.722 @ 101.14

others runs were
13.79@100.99 2.12
13.81@100.84 2.12
13.97@100.33 2.14
13.92@101.37 2.12
14.0@100.5? 2.30
14.1@100.57 2.35
14.4@98 2.27(right of the street)

next weekend ill be running with KYB gr2 struts.. no back seats, 1/4 tank of gas and hopefully a littl better tune or another mod or two with some drag radials.

yea, thanks!!!
i never really learned how to properly launch my car but to get 2.1x 60fts,

I rev to about 3k feathering the gas then slip the clutch to about 5500. It still spins the rest of 1st and most of second. Get my new motor mount in tomorrow with KYB shocks. Hopefully i can get some DRs by sunday so i can try to cut some 1.7x-9x 60fts and low 13.2.

Nealoc, with your 35IM(if you've ran with it yet) what rpm was your peak power at/where are you shifting from 1-2,2-3?
and if you could possible tell me, what rpm do you launch with a good, sticky track?

i don't have the 3.5 IM on yet. still have the 4th gen IM.

on street tires i don't pay attention to my RPMs I go by feel really.

Why would you lose power when your crank ref sensor is plugged in?

that's green painters tape with black tire rubber on it...the tape is there because its a biznitch to clean off the car.

when I plug in the sensor, from about 2500-5000 my car doesn't pull at all..after 5000 it picks up quick..dunno what it is..

I plug it up,I tie with my boys 15.0 maxima, unplug it, I run 13s..weird
