13.9s. 101 mph. Shreddded belt. aiya.

So. with just 4 ribs on the SC, i decided, heck. lets goto LACR and see what i can do. it just rained yesterday, so it was very cool today temp wise. so im like ok!

second run of the nite- running against Chris (CapMax99)and boom. get traction and i take off. i'm max boost in 3rd gear, then slam to 4th near the end, and i hear a bonk. and the battery lite turns on.. DOH.

but heck. i got a decent time.

13.95 corrected
101 mph corrected.

alas. time to get the damn sc off finally. hehe

Corrected? What the hell does that mean? Is that like "what I would have ran if I was a good driver"?

usually means corrected to sea level. Higher altitudes yield slower times, so some people correct the time to lower altitude levels based on some equation.

I believe his time was a 14.5. But that track really sucks a$$ for all of you that have raced there know. I myself had only two good runs and those times were a 15.1 @ 93mph. Check out my thread see if you can help me with the question.

Thanks for any help,

Sounds like something that's gonna happen in my future. Just a question though, how'd you get the car back? You seem pretty happy about having to lug a giant paperweight home with you hehe.

lol @ daveB... maybe we need to send some east coast maximas over there to "correct" them

but seriously... I think it is fair to say that cheston's car must be a 13 second car under decent conditions

There's no doubt Cheston's Maxima is a 13-second ride especially if he got rid of the big rims when drag racing. The tracks in S. California are in the high desert which means high temps and high altitude (2000+ feet).
