FS: Brand new VE30DE VTC Rebuild Kits and Tensioners

SOLD!!

-------------------------------------------

Here is what I have for sale:

SOLD 1) Two Brand new VE30DE VTC Rebuild Kits (13072-97E00) $50
SOLD 2) Brand new VE30DE Timing Chain Tensioner Assembly LH (13070-97E16) $55
SOLD 3) Brand new VE30DE Timing Chain Tensioner Assembly RH (13070-97E10) $55

The VTC rebuild kits are brand new. The springs have been measured as well. Apparently, not all VTC Rebuild Kits are the same. Several years ago, I received a rebuild kit from the dealership that had the same height springs as the originals that came out of my engine. Needless to say, my VTC ticking came back after only 1K miles.

So I ordered another set, but this time, I made sure they were taller and stiffer than the originals. I never got around to installing them on my VE.

Both new VTC springs measure exactly 2.761" in height.

The average original VTC spring measures 2.611" in height.

That is over an 1/8" height difference between the springs. Since I spent so much time confirming the spring height before ordering these rebuild kits from Courtesy Nissan, you can have the piece of mind that they are correct!

I also have both timing chain tensioners as well.

All pricing is lower than the best dealership prices I could find. And since shipping costs will vary between $7-15 within the US, please specify your zip code before sending payment.

All packages will go out via insured USPS 2-3 day Priority Mail.

To order, please send payment to [sales@nwpengineering.com].

And feel free to post any questions or email me.

Thank you,

Aaron Kimball

also just a note thinking about how vtc works i tried something...
mine is auto trans, so i put it in gear an holding brake pedal down brought rpms up an down... woolah noise gone for awile... it works the vtc in the way its designed letting more oil get in to lube up the clanger... till next time it runs dry...

lets see asked if anyone has new vtc kits at decent price ... done...

oh ya... is there any one has modded ecu to improve performance and rid car of annoying top speed limiter ???
or
conversion to ecu mapping via laptop etc etc ???
i was sceptical at first having only payed $1200 for this car but then i notice at almost 20 years old its faster then most new cars

You didn't have to bring up Aaron's old thread for this. But its good to know you know how to use the search. Ask Augustusmaximus since he just rebuilt his VTCs. Lol at the faster than most newer cars. Think if you had a 5spd like me and a few others. As for ecu look into JWT (Jim Wolf Technology) or Nistune which is active tuning with laptop (if you know how to do it).
