what is the cause of this, i have a 95 is it the starter?

also, i press lock on my keyless entry and all hte doors jus made this noise like the lock was jammed.

same w/ the trunk.
same with the lock button on the driver door

what is going ON?!?!?!?

 

first thing you need to check is if you have power..

so when you turn the key.. check to see if you have lights on your dash, or if you have clock or head lights.. if you do.. then its your starter..

if you don't?

if you don't and you never had a battery light, you battery is dead and you just need a jump..

if you don't?

and you had a battery light before.. your altenator is dead

 

I have been having the same problem. This happens every so often.I try to start my car and its a no go. BUT my lights, clock etc. all come on..... Do you think my auto remote start may have something to do with this?
