Bazooka Tube Connected to Bose Stereo?

Audio experts - Is it possible to connect a Bazooka tube to my 01 Bose System? Is this recommended? I have a Bozooka tube laying around from my old car.

Thanks,
Jay

Just tap into the White and Black wires BEFORE the it goes into the connector/plug into the bose 8" sub. Now those are LOW LEVEL wires, so basically cut off a end to a RCA wire and tap the + wire of the RCA to the White and the - wire of the RCA to the black wire. And walla you got the cleanest bass possible.

Now remember this is LOW LEVEL, that means no need for speaker level convertors, cause this is already a pre-amp wire.

i don't suggest taping into anything...you need to go ahead and just get a head unit componets, zapco amps, mb quart subs, focal 5 inch subs upfront, da converter and a behinger eq.

these questions belong in the audio forum

I was being a smart ***, cuz this belongs in the audio forum. Don't get ****y j/k A behinger eq/crossover goes for 4-6k once converted so your 2500 est. is way low.

Yup, it's acually a pro audio piece that guys are taking and adapting to 12 volt use for the car. So depending which one you get 4-5k for the peice plus the adapting brings it to around 6k.

had it done in my 2k

Tapped the signal from the wires to the sub AFTER the amp. I believe the crossover is already in place so my built in 85 hz is probably too much on top of the original but it isn't adjustable on the 10" EL series I already had. It is an improvement but not as much as in other cars I have heard. A better bang for the buck was replacng the tweeters, easier, cheaper and a larger improvement, make sure they are physically small for easy install
