Taking orange out of headlights...

I have seen some pics of Maximas without the little orange pieces in their headlights. Could someone please post directions on how to take them out? My friend has a 2000 Maxima SE and he is dying to get rid of the ugly orange pieces.
Thanks,
Cyrus

If you mean the parking light in the headlamp assembly, that's not an orange piece. Its an orange light bulb. Just go buy a white bulb and you're done. If its the side marker, the tear drop shaped item on the sides of the front fender, then you can buy aftermarket markers from places like www.courtesyparts.com or www.autodynamic.com.

I don't think you need to do that...I'd think it's pretty obvious it's just the bulb color heh.

You could ask your friend to try Polarg Visual G series bulbs. When they're on their amber, but in daylight they're completly clear..

Do you have some pix of how they look in day? I was thinking of getting them, but for 20$ a bulb I wanna see a pretty good difference..
