anyone know the difficulty of switching wheels? I got the SE wheel off fine but haven't taken my gxe wheel off yet. Im hoping it comes off easy and this one just pops on. any COMPLICATIONS involved in a process like this? -block

well the wheel will be tight. to make your life easier go get a puller. if not you'll be pulling REALLY hard to get it off.

Re: I already got the se wheel off

make sure it's lined up correctly. (pull the wheel off when it's PERFECTLY straight). then put it back on perfectly straight then use a small wood black and a small hammer and tap GENTLY...it should just slide on. if u do it too hard the steering column will collipse (spelling?).

the se wheels look so much better. i always thought the gxe wheels looked like some kind of star trek emblem.

I'll probably do the install this week. all it is is a 19mm socket underneath the center peice of the wheel. the center peice pops off. the steering wheel took a lot of pounding to get off but i got it.

its not that the se wheel is so special, its that the gxe wheel is so ugly.

Hey where did you get it, and how much did you pay for it.
I've been lookin' for one for a while, mine is worn to crap.
