Pioneer DEH P9300 info?

I am interested in buying the Pioneer DEH-P930 or 9300, does anyone own one or know someone that has one? Are/they happy with it? I have a Kenwood X817 right now and it fits flush with my dash, will the Pioneer stick out a bit? My old Sony did, that's why I ask. Thanks.

I am not a fan of the Pioneer DEH-930. It cost too much. Too much graphics. And if you are wondering if it would stick out in your face, someone on here has that deck with a tv installed in his dash. His name is Osama. I don't know his login though. You could do better. Just my opinion.

I have Deh-p730. I like it. It does stick out a bit and doesnt fit flush. I know a friend who has deh-P930 and he is happy with it. It sounds nice and clear, but i never heard how kenwood sounds. I have my HU hooked up to factory bose speakers and 2 10" RF subs and it rocks, lotta cool grafix and so much control over how you wanna listen to your muzik. good luck

im goin to be gettin the 9300 soon from where i work. Pioneer makes the premier 930 wich is litterally the same headunit, all your paying for is the name, $80 more. Its a very clean headunit from what i have heard. A friend of mine has it in his maxima and it has a million features you can adjust to make your system sound totally custom to your liking. Im not running subs anymore but i do have 6x9's now in the rear for a lil kick.

Name is not the only diff. if you buy a Pioneer Premier, you are also buying year extra warranty. Pioneer Premier comes with 2 yr. warranty unlike 1 year with regular pioneer. Also, i believe it has extra set of pre-amp out and couple of other stuff and also remote is diff that you get with premier.

I'm running it

I'm running the p930 and I love it. Sounds nice and clear, and is totally adjustable. I was running the p720 before and the 930 sounds a lot better. If you can get a good deal on the 930, go for that for sure!

I have the P9300. It is a good cd player but it will stick out of your dash. I had a Kenwood before it. I loved the sound of the Kenwood a lot more than this one. The Kenwood also fit flush and looked nice. I am about to get rid of this 9300 and get another Kenwood.

I have an almost brand new DEH-P9200R which is last years model and is similar to the 9300R. I'm asking $350 + shipping.

I bought the 9300

Well I found a used 9300 for $550 with a 4 yr warranty from Best Buy and I'm happy with it. Sounds better than my Kenwood in my opinion. I also like the display 100x better, I get to see the full CD track name for my CDs now, just a neat feature. And it looks cool too. Thanks for all the input.

ok i just called Pionner, they told me that if i use a CD-RB10 AUX input adapter i can plug my ps2 directly into the headunit using the IP-bus port. Now i dont have to worry about loosing any audio quality when watching dvds or playing video games.

i got your e-mail BTW, thanks for your help MAX4SPEED!!

Does that mean you'd be giving up your CD changer input ?
